In a strange twist that saw Lake Bell’s necessary departure from SCRE4M earlier today, this next story might be mark this day Black Friday. Why? Looks like we may lose another hottie from a much anticipated franchise reboot.

According to Comingsoon, Teresa Palmer (below) has announced she has no involvement with George Miller’s MAD MAX: FURY ROAD. Say what now????

Seems true y’all. Despite being confirmed by various industry insiders (John Turtletaub and Jay Baruchel, Palmer’s respective director and co-star in THE SORCERER’S APPRENTICE) and Plamer herself, it appears she was never officially cast in the project. Even more strange is how SlashFilm’s Peter Sciretta’s mined some off-record excitement out of Palmer in regards to FURY ROAD at a recent WonderCon party. All fishy dealings!

MAD MAX: FURY ROAD, now holding an unknown 2012 release date, is set to star Charlize Theron, tom Hardy, Nicholas Hoult and Zoe Kravitz. No plot details have yet been made available.

Let’s hear what ya got gang! The loss of Palmer boost or wane your interest in seeing the flick? Or does it not affect you one way or another?
