Yup, now that’s good news for this action fan in need of a TRUE action hit. For a while there it looked like Sly Stallone’s ode to men kicking ass and blowing shit up THE EXPENDABLES was gonna be victim of the PG-13 theatrical release virus. Hey, I was worried, lost sleep over it…  but not anymore. The good old MPAA gave The Expendables an R rating for: strong action and bloody violence and for some language. Yes! Lets keep it that way! THE EXPENDABLES will bring testosterone back to the screen on August 13, 2010. It was written and directed by Sly and of course stars Sly, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren and has cameos by Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger. You can keep your Scott Pilgrim vs. the World shite (it opens on the same day), EXPENDABLESSS ALL THE WAY!!!!
