Less than 24 hours ago Ammon hit you all with the scoop that genre director Jonathan Liebesman was in the front running to direct the upcoming sequel to Louis Leterrier’s CLASH OF THE TITANS. Now that’s all fine and dandy, but who’s going to be writing this thing?
If you were wondering the same thing then worry not! You won’t have to wait any longer for the answer because I’m about to tell you: David Leslie Johnson and Dan Mazeau. Johnson most recently penned ORPHAN while Mazeau has put work into the scripts for JOHNNY QUEST and THE FLASH among others. Interesting duo to pen CLASH OF THE TITANS 2, no? What do you guys think? I’m feeling this may actually be the perfect combination for a decent TITANS flick… But as always time will tell.
Plans are to actually shoot this one in 3D, rather than the horrible notion of converting, with most of the cast including Sam Worthington set to return. No word on an official director but as soon as that’s announced we’ll be sure to pass the word along to all of you!
