So it looks like we won’t be seeing another JURASSIC PARK film for a while considering the last update we got on the fourth installment came way back in Feburary. But worry not ladies and gentlemen! It seems we will once again be visiting that dreaded island very soon!
Apparently Telltale Games will be teaming with Universal Studios to bring us new video games based on JURASSIC PARK and BACK TO THE FUTURE! Natch! Now the BACK TO THE FUTURE news is pretty awesome as well, but we’re going to concentrate on JURASSIC PARK for now. Unfortunately major details on the projects aren’t known yet but what we do know is this: The “Jurassic Park” games would be intense and add new backstories to the series’ man-versus-dinosaur mythology. Telltale Games CEO Dan Connors explains a bit more:
“The games are going to exist within these worlds. I wouldn’t call these games sequels per se but a new interpretation of their worlds for a new medium. For one generation, it’s an introduction to these series. For another generation, it’s a thing they can look back on and something they can share warmly with their family and friends.”
So we’re talking brand new storylines here? Nice! This thing sounds like it’s going the route of the new GHOSTBUSTERS game. Though I suppose that one was more of a sequel…

Telltale Games are aiming to have the game on shelves this coming Winter for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PC and Mac.
