It was just last week that I hit you all with a couple uneventful shots from the set of SAW 3D aka SAW VII. Well it seems those shots were just the first of many things that’ll be coming at us this Summer via the SAW media train because it’s just been announced that SAW 3D has officially completed filming.
The filming of SAW 3D – the 7th “SAW” movie was completed today (Monday, April 12, 2010) at 7:28AM Eastern Time.The last day of Principal Photography (filming) began on Sunday night at 9:21PM Eastern Time. The final day of filming took place outdoors in Toronto, Canada. SAW 3D will be released on October 22, 2010.
Alert… well… somebody! This is huge news folks! You know, knowing the exact time a flick wrapped filming is essential these days. Well… not really. Though I’ve got to admit, with the release date already set for this Fall it’s nice to see this thing wrap up quick and easy. Maybe there’s some actual hope for it? I mean after that whole mess with SAW VI director Kevin Greutert wanting to do PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 2 but then being forced to do SAW 3D… well let’s just say you can’t really see things going too peachy after that. Heh.
But alas, Greutert is a professional and he did the job he was forcedasked to do. The quality of the end result is still to be determined… We’ll all find out October 22nd, when SAW 3D hits theaters everywhere!
