Less than a couple weeks ago we got a look at the brand new red band trailer for George A. Romero’s latest zombie adventure SURVIVAL OF THE DEAD. (Read The Arrow’s review HERE) Two weeks later and now we’ve got a brand new one-sheet to feast our eyes upon!
This new one-sheet, coming all the way from Japan via the Heart Attack blog, is basically a couple older posters thrown together. Just scroll down to take a look for yourself. We’ve seen that creepy b*tch reaching for us before and we’ve also seen the horde of zombies in the background way back when. Alas the poster still looks pretty badass, right? SURVIVAL OF THE DEAD takes place on an island off the coast of North America, where local residents simultaneously fight a zombie epidemic while hoping for a cure to return their un-dead relatives back to their human state.
So Romero’s latest takes a look at how far some people will go to not part with loved ones, even when they’re zombies. Pretty twisted. Unfortunately SURVIVAL OF THE DEAD is receiving a very mixed bag of reviews, though most seem to be negative. Bummer. The only way to know for sure though is to check this one out for yourself! And you’ll be able to do just that when it hits DVD April 30th followed by a limited theatrical run on May 28th.
