We’ve been keeping you in the loop on the supernatural flick THE APPARITION for a while now, with the last update coming back in February. So why is this flick a big deal? Well because it stars the TWILIGHT SAGA’s Ashley Greene of course!
To be fair, Greene (pictured) is insanely hot and I’d be interested in a movie of her having a staring contest with the Lincoln Memorial. Luckily for us… APPARITION actually sounds half-way decent. A step in the right direction for Greene after this whole TWILIGHT mess, right? Maybe it’ll actually allow us to finally forgive the gorgeous actress. …. Maybe.
Anyway what I’m here to tell you about today is that the guys over at Cinematical had a chance to talk to Greene about her film SKATELAND. Well needless to say the topic quickly changed to THE APPARITION and Greene spilled on some juicy details:
“The Apparition is something I’m currently filming. We just got back from Germany this week, we were there for about two months filming at Babelsberg Studio and we start filming again in about a week in Los Angeles. The film actually takes place in L.A. which is the funny thing about this business, because we went to Germany to shoot it, we came back to shoot exteriors. It’s a psychological thriller that centers around these two characters, Kelly and Ben, who are played by myself and Sebastian Stan. We play a couple who are haunted by a supernatural force and we have to figure out what this thing wants. I definitely learned a lot of things about myself while filming this… I read the script and loved it. I’m so passionate about this project and my producers and director and co-star, I’ve gone places as an actor I didn’t know I could go. So I’m really excited for this one to come out.”
The actress goes on to talk about what kind of horror flick THE APPARITION will be and how she felt while filming. She also talks a bit about how the genre is shying away from that whole ‘torture porn’ phase. To check out the whole interview you can head right over HERE.
Joel Silver is producing the film with Todd Lincoln directing. Joining Greene and Stan in the supernatural fun will be Tom ‘Draco Malfoy’ Felton and FRIDAY THE 13TH’s Julianna Guill. THE APPARITION is currently filming in Los Angeles. No word on any sort of release date but as always, we’ll keep you updated! I’m going to leave you all with another of Greene’s quotes.
