Danny Dyer and Kelly Brook traveling to Hotel Caledonia

This reads more like gossip, but it’s still intriguing. In an article about actor Danny Dyer slagging off actress Kelly Brook comes the revelation (to us, anyway) that the two British celebs have signed onto the horror-comedy HOTEL CALEDONIA. (Though it is later revealed in the Daily Star piece that financing is in trouble for the flick.)

Dyer, who apparently fancies himself a top-of-the-line thespian (DOGHOUSE, SEVERANCE and STRAIGHTHEADS are among his more notable roles), had unkind words to say about the buxom beauty. (Christ now I’m writing like one of those gossip mongrels.) “She can’t act so I’m certainly not looking forward to working with her. She doesn’t do it for me and she never has done…”

Not content to stop there, Dyer continued with this: “She’s okay looking, she’s all right. But I wouldn’t call her that f**king fit. She honestly does nothing for me… And I definitely wouldn’t want to do a play with her.”

Ouch. Does the man have working eyes in his head? (See Brook for yourself below.)

As for the flick itself, Dyer says he’ll be playing a man who strips women’s skin from their bodies. I suppose he wanted Helen Mirren or Judi Dench for the role Brook will play.

According to the official site for Oceanstorm Films (which is producing HOTEL CALEDONIA), the plot goes something like this: A thirty-something nobody and a group of young backpackers join forces against a family of inbred hoteliers in a rip-roaring and bloody adventure in the Highlands of Scotland.
