Will Teresa Palmer add Fury to George Miller’s Mad Max 4?

It wasn’t but a few hours ago that our man E.Dub dropped a line about George Miller’s 4th MAD MAX film getting the 3D treatment (read up on it HERE). Well, aside from Charlize, looks like we might have another cute face to gawk at in the third dimension. And that face belongs to…none other than Teresa Palmer!

According to The Hearld Sun, who cites Jay Baruchel as spilling the beans, the 23 year old GRUDGE 2 star will star alongside Theron and Tom Hardy in MAD MAX: FURY ROAD. Dig it…

While promoting his new DreamWorks film HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON, Baruchel admitted that Palmer, his SORCERER’S APPRENTICE costar, “Gets to work with him (Hardy), and she’s (going to be) doing ‘Mad Max 4’ with Miller,” adding, “She’s the main chick in ‘Fury Road’. She’s going to be there for over a year. It’s really, really cool.”

First off, Palmer being added to the cast makes sense because Miller cast her before, in a flick that never came to fruition entitled JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA. But “the main chick”? How the hell? No. Charlize is the lead, right? Hopefully Baruchel just got his shite mixed up, because I don’t care how cute or young Palmer is, there’s no replacing my girl Charlize. Ever.

Time will tell if this is merely hearsay, or whether Baruchel’s description is accurate. But let it be known, I just revisited MAD MAX last night, and I don’t care how well you cast this thing or what cool technology you use to bring it to life, it’ll be a tall order to try and replicate the utter cool the original flick offered.

Thoughts?

The lovely Teresa Palmer!
