I must admit I an unashamedly excited for CLASH OF THE TITANS, Louis Leterier’s special effects-heavy update of the classic fantasy epic. When the trailer hit, I was somewhat dubious – I may have even giggled a little. Now I’ve fully embraced it. Maybe it’s because it just looks like it wants to knock our socks off with crazy action set-pieces and ferocious monsters. Can’t really complain ’bout that – it’s calling my inner 13-year-old.
Collider scored some new images which make me even more excited, especially the one you see aboe, which looks straight out of a Clive Barker nightmare. Of course, you’ve also got “it” boy Sam Worthington doing his thing, which I think we’re going to be seeing a lot of in the next couple years.
The ultimate struggle for power pits men against kings and kings against gods. But the war between the gods themselves could destroy the world. Leading a daring band of warriors, Perseus sets off on a perilous journey deep into forbidden worlds. Battling unholy demons and fearsome beasts, he will only survive if he can accept his power as a god, defy his fate and create his own destiny.
CLASH stars Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton, Nicholas Hoult, Alexa Davalos, Danny Huston, Pete Postlethwait, Jason Flemyng, Mads Mikkelsen, Izabella Miko, Polly Walker and Vincent Regan – it opens on MARCH 26th.
