Way back in the middle of September I told you all about a supernatural film heading our way from the duo of Clint Eastwood and Matt Damon. Needless to say I was very excited hearing this news. Two great filmmakers like that tackling a genre project? Oh man I can’t wait… And today there’s even more reason to look forward to HEREAFTER!
According to Variety the gorgeous Bryce Dallas Howard (pictured) has just signed on to the project, which follows three people — a blue-collar American, a French journalist and a London school boy — who are touched by death in different ways. So who do you think is playing who? I’m guessing Damon will play the American while Howard tackles the French role. By process of elimination it seems we’re waiting on one more name to headline. Hopefully that news breaks soon.
Eastwood will be directing a script from Peter Morgan with Eastwood, Kathleen Kennedy and Robert Lorenz producing. Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall, Peter Morgan and Tim Moore will be executive producing. Yes that Steven Spielberg. Man this thing can only get bigger! HEREAFTER will be filmed in Paris, London, Hawaii and San Francisco with a December 2010 release date set.
