A couple months ago I told you all how Clint Eastwood and Matt Damon were teaming up to bring us HEREAFTER. This was awesome news to this guy because these two great filmmakers have never really wandered over into our lovely genre before… So needless to say I’m stoked!

Today via Variety it seems we’ve got word on who will star alongside Damon in the flick: Cecile de France. I know you don’t recognize her name but de France is actually that hot lesbian chick from Alexandre Aja’s HIGH TENSION. Yes, that chick! The actress (pictured) will play a French journalist who has a near-death experience while the film itself is the story of three people who are touched by death in different ways.

Eastwood will direct a script from Peter Morgan with principal photography already underway on the supernatural drama. HEREAFTER is slated for release in December 2010 and will film in Paris, London, Hawaii and San Francisco. Whoa that’s some shooting schedule! Keep it here for more as we’ll be keeping a close eye on this one.
