TCM gets Twisted in 3D

Well Mikey’s doing it… Jason’s doing it… so little ol Leatherface needs to join in on the fun too! In case you haven’t caught on yet… I’m talking about 3-D!

I’m afraid I’m not joking folks. Variety are reporting that Twisted Pictures are on the brink of scoring the rights to THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE franchise. Twisted then plans to bring a new film to the big screen, another ‘reboot’ I’m assuming with plans to contemporize the story and make it 3D. Oh this 3D craze… I don’t think it’s going away any time soon so we might as well just accept it. It isn’t that bad, is it?

Anyway this new CHAINSAW film comes from a script by Stephen Susco and will probably have nothing to do with Platinum Dunes’ films. This would be just the beginning by the way… seeing how Twisted’s deal is for multiple pictures. Well that’s all we’ve got so far. Now the fun begins!
