So GHOST RIDER 2 is happening whether we want it to or not. Alright. Just when we thought Nicolas Cage stopped picking his projects out of a hat…

We already know the film will bring back Cage as our blazing hero. But what about a writer or director? Well the directing spot is still up in the air but according to Variety it seems Columbia Pictures may have found their writer: David Goyer. Goyer’s name should be familiar to any superhero fans seeing how the man has been a big part of both the new BATMAN franchsie as well as the BLADE franchise. Yeah that guy.

Mind you Goyer isn’t signed yet, he’s just in early talks. But you know how that goes. Apparently Goyer penned a GHOST RIDER film years ago and that’s the script they’ll be retooling for this sequel. Nice. So what do you guys think? Does Goyer’s involvement give you any hope in this sequel? Is there nothing that can sell you on this? Keep it here as we await any other GHOST RIDER 2 news!
