So on this ridiculously slow Friday night I’m turning to a Variety story about an upcoming thriller to entertain you all. And entertain it shall! Wait until you see the hotties this one has secured!
The flick is BREAKING THE GIRL with director Jamie Babbit already attached. Babbit’s got a slew of random television episodes under her belt, including episodes of 90210, DROP DEAD DIVA, DIRTY SEXY MONEY, REAPER, THE L WORD, GOSSIP GIRL, THE RICHES… and the list goes one. Unfortunately the director doesn’t have many films under her belt… but that’s ok. You know why that’s ok? Because BREAKING THE GIRL stars Amanda Crew and Adrianne Palicki!
Crew (above) is irrestibably cute while Palicki (below) is undeniably sexy. Together they create a deadly duo. How deadly? Well the film is about a naïve college student who loses a scholarship at the hands of a classmate and makes a pact with a mysterious friend to kill off each off each other’s enemies. Now we’ve seen this tale time and time again in a countless number of adaptations, this most recent one coming from writers Mark Distefano and Guinevere Turner. Who cares if it’s not original… these chicks are gorgeous!
Production is set to start this Spring in Canada. Hopefully more cast will be announced soon so be sure to keep checking back for updates!
