S.Beasto Goes Theatrical

Earlier this week I hit you all with three groovy clips for Rob Zombie’s THE HAUNTED WORLD OF EL SUPERBEASTO. Now the DVD is scheduled to hit shelves September 22nd… but apparently we’ll be seeing this one in theaters next week!

Just when you thought it was out of the question, huh? Rob Zombie updated us via his MySpace Blog that D and E Entertainment dropped word on SUPERBEASTO scoring a theatrical release!

The only kicker is we’re not given any reason as to why this one is suddenly hitting theaters… but do we even need one? I’m going to go ahead and assume it’s a limited release but from the list of States D and E Entertainment have offering the sale of tickets it looks like it’s a bigger release than you’d think. The site also have a whole batch of stills from the flick that I had not seen yet so I went ahead and tossed those up for you above and below.

So when is THE HAUNTED WORLD OF EL SUPERBEASTO hitting theaters? September 12, 2009! So there you have it! Zombie’s animated adventure hits On Demand Sept. 7th, theaters on Sept. 12 and DVD on Sept. 22nd.
