It wasn’t to long ago that we told you how genre hottie Danielle Harris was gearing up to battle some vamps in STAKE LAND. Well it seems Harris won’t be the only one!
We got a press release today informing us that TOP GUN star Kelly McGillis will be fighting alongside Harris in STAKE LAND. Also joining the battle will be Nick Damici and Conor Paolo. STAKE LAND follows a small team of survivors as they make a treacherous journey north to safety through the war-torn U.S.. McGillis will play ‘Sister,’ a nun that faces a crisis of faith during the vampire bloodshed, ultimately taking up arms to do battle with her newly formed family unit. The first still from the film also popped up today over at Bloody-Disgusting. You can check that out above.
STAKE LAND comes from MULBERRY STREET director Jim Mickle with a script from Mickle and Damici. It’s described as ‘an epic vampire road film’ and is currently filming in New York and Pennsylvania. This one sounds like it may actually be pretty badass! Keep it here as we await any other information on STAKE LAND.
