Well, friends, here we are. One week before the premier of The CW’s THE VAMPIRE DIARIES. Ya’ll excited for this? Well, to further prod your interest, we’ve got a special treat. If you cast your eyes below, you’ll find two brand new, never-before-scene webisodes filmed to coincide with the series. The title of the “web series” is A DARKER TRUTH and to watch the first two episodes, simply click on the links below! Part 1 is first, Part 2 is second.

And for an idea of what exactly you’re getting into, here is the plot synopsis for the actual show: Elena Gilbert has always been a star student; beautiful, popular and involved with school and friends. As the fall semester begins, Elena becomes fascinated with the mysterious new boy in school, Stefan Salvatore, and she has no way of knowing he is a centuries-old vampire. While Stefan struggles to live peacefully among humans, his brother Damon is the embodiment of violence and brutality. Now these two vampire brothers, one good, one evil, are at war for Elena’s soul in the small town of Mystic Falls, Virginia.

It really does sound and look pretty cool. The cast is composed of Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder, Steven R. McQueen, Sara Canning, Katerina Graham, Candice Accola, Zach Roerig, Kayla Ewell, Michael Trevino, and Chris William Martin. The very first episode will be airing on The CW on September 10th at 8pm.
