First off, I’m sorry, but F*CK YOU to anyone who thinks that I’m getting f*cking paid to praise Rob Zombie’s HALLOWEEN II! You think The Arrow, the most righteous straight-shooter of them all, is getting paid too?! Hey, there is a nice amount of genre buffs that flat-out enjoyed the flick. If you didn’t like it, that’s your own friggin’ opinion!
Okay, I feel more relaxed. I guess I really should have started out this article by saying BIG SPOILER in regards to the pic up top, but honestly, by now if you clicked to check out this article, you really shouldn’t mind. Anyways, that very sweet image above does indeed give away details regarding the way that Zombie’s own H2 unfolds. I, for one, felt it to be a rather realistic and chilling conclusion. In fact, the entire flick played like a real-to-life instance of a psychotic slasher. I feel bad for those who felt otherwise, but some folks just don’t ever want to be allowed to think when it comes to their horror. And again, that’s cool.
But if you’re in the market for something daring and different and beautifully brutal in terms of your horror, then I doubt you’ll be disappointed with HALLOWEEN II.
