Dumb Eclipse starts prod

Wow, Summit must be a glutton for punishment (at least when it comes to releasing info on all things TWILIGHT). What else could explain their latest huge announcement that, hold onto your glitter sticks and fake fangs, production has just started on the next turd in their crap crown of the TWILIGHT saga. Said turd would be ECLIPSE. Yes! I’m so flippin’ excited! I so love seeing more and more on the adventures of Bella and Edward and all their sparkly friends. What can I say? It gives me a boner.

So, yes, thank you Summit for letting us know that principal photography has indeed commenced on the third film of the poorly written book series. What pisses me off is that they got a very talented genre director, David Slade of HARD CANDY and 30 DAYS OF NIGHT, to shovel this shit. Then again, I felt that 30 DAYS was a step down for Slade, so perhaps this is just the natural progression of his film career.

The series’ top three idiots, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, will be back with the gorgeous Bryce Dalls Howard taking over the role of “Victoria” from some whiny bitch. ECLIPSE is looking to darken movie theaters on June 30, 2010. As usual, I will attempt to give you my version of the plot:

Bella is in big-time trouble in little Seattle because a vampire girl wants to suck her (not in a good sorta way). Her girlfriends Edward and Jacob are there too and are thinking of starting a race war between vampires and werewolves. Hey, wasn’t this already UNDERWORLD?
