Great Blood Night poster

Damn, it seems like forever since we’ve last reported anything juicy on the very-cool-looking old-school horror BLOOD NIGHT: THE LEGEND OF MARY HATCHET. I’ve been waiting to catch it for quite some time and hopefully my time will be coming soon. For now, we have a brand new, friggin’ sweet poster for the flick up top.

Seriously, there is just nothing sweeter than the nude silhouette of some crazy (but sexy) chick walking around with a hatchet and a recently lopped off head. I want to go on record right this second as being completely in love with this one-sheet. There I said it. And it feels pretty darn good.

In case you don’t remember, here is the flick’s plot: A group of teenagers celebrating the anniversary of the death of a local axe murderer suddenly find themselves face to face with the realities of this haunting local legend.

BLOOD NIGHT was directed by Frank Sabatella who worked on the script with Elke Blasi. The cast consists of the great Danielle Harris, Samantha Facchi, Ricardo Cordero, Nate Dushku, Bill Moseley, Samantha Jacobs, and Anthony Marks. I would love to hear something about a release some time by tomorrow or at least asap.
