Just last week I was very turned on by the latest trailer for the Antarctic thriller WHITEOUT. The fact that it had super sexy star Kate Beckinsale taking a shower also helped with the whole turn-on thing. If I had Ms. Beckinsale starring in one of my movies, I would use her gorgeous-ness to promote the shit out of it too. Case in point, the brand new poster for the flick up top.
Now, I already want to see this movie because it’s got a sweet plot and the trailer rocks. However, even if I didn’t know a single thing about WHITEOUT, as soon as I caught sight of that new one-sheet, my interest in the film would instantly increase by 100%. Those eyes. Those lips. Deadly weapons, my friends. The frosty coating over her entire face is pretty sweet too. Yes, that previous sentence could be construed as something dirty. And I’m cool with that.
Here’s the plot: U.S. Marshal Carrie Stetko tracks the VERY FIRST killer ever in Antarctica, as the sun is about to set for six months.
WHITEOUT was directed by Dominic Sena from a script by Jon and Erich Hoeber. The rest of the cast includes Alex O’Loughlin, Gabriel Macht, Columbus Short, Tom Skerritt, and Shawn Doyle. The release date is set for September 11, 2009.
