It seems Zack Snyder can do no wrong. The man chooses his projects wisely and makes sure he puts out the best product possible. DAWN OF THE DEAD. Awesome. 300. Awesome. WATCHMEN. Awesome. The man’s track record is… well… awesome. And at this point we should all be aware what his next project will be: SUCKER PUNCH.
What do you get when you add Zack Snyder together with a cast of smoking hot females? Something awesome! SUCKER PUNCH already has the hotness that is Vanessa Hudgens, Jena Malone, Emily Browning, Abbie Cornish and Jamie Chung… ohhh Jamie Chung. Well the movie just added another hottie to the mix in the form of the gorgeous Carla Gugino! (pictured)
According to The Hollywood Reporter Gugino will be playing ‘Mrs. Schultz, an adult figure in the institution.’ What institution? Well the flick is a 1950s-set tale of a girl (Browning) confined to a mental institution by her evil stepfather, who intends to have her lobotomized in five days. She and her friends enter an alternate reality where they begin planning an escape. With Snyder at the helm I’m sure we’ll be getting all kinds of twisted shite heading our way!
The cast are all in fight training right now getting ready for a Fall start in Vancouver so hopefully we’ll be hearing more about SUCKER PUNCH in the coming months!
