The Hollywood Reporter posted a quick little update today letting us all know that a new name has just been attached to Ken Kushner’s upcoming horror flick WHEN THE DEVIL COMES. Alright and… wait a minute… what the hell is WHEN THE DEVIL COMES??
The Reporter offers us absolutely no info and neither does imdb. So what is this horror flick we’re dealing with? I scowered the net and landed on Kushner’s official website and found this piece of info under the ‘News’ section in a casting call:

Open Call – This Friday April 24th 2009 – 2PM – 6PM – Ripley Grier Studios – 520 Eighth Avenue – Between 36th street and 37th street- 16th floor – Sign in at Holding room 17B – “Horror Film Casting”
Feature length film: Non Union – Deferred Pay : Film deals with Supernatural Horror and is scheduled to go into production End of May 2009. All levels of experience will be evaluated.
Casting lead roles
Males 40-60 – FIVE ROLES – foreign ethnic accents a plus (Italian and Irish a plus)
Males 20-40 – THREE ROLES – All ethnic backgrounds
Females 18-40 – FIVE ROLES – White / Hispanic females 4 roles – Black Female – 1 role
Also casting:
Kids – 10-13 Male and Female – 6 kids Male and female all ethnic backgrounds
So what does that tell us? Well… that we’re dealing with a supernatural horror flick… at least we’re going somewhere with this! Anyway the casting news has the gorgeous actress/model Sarah Bradford (pictured) joining the cast that already includes Dechen Thurman, Patrick McMullan and Liam McMullan. The film is currently shooting in New York City, upstate New York and Long Island. That’s all we’ve got for now on WHEN THE DEVIL COMES but be sure to keep it here for updates!
