Another flick with a status up in the air is coming down to Earth. This time it’s Ti West’s THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL, which premiered earlier this year at the Tribeca Film Festival. We received a press release announcing the horror flick’s acquisition by Magnet Releasing. Among Magnet’s recent distributions are TIME CRIMES, DONKEY PUNCH, and SURVEILLANCE.

THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL is about a college
student who takes a babysitting job in a remote mansion
with her good friend Megan. She’s
desperate for money and the pay is good, but something feels wrong, and
Samantha quickly realizes that the girls are trapped. As a lunar eclipse
darkens the night sky, she realizes that her employers have
something truly terrifying in store for them.
