The Arrow just finished telling you all about a new TV spot for HALLOWEEN 2 but that’s not the only updates for Rob Zombie’s latest! Not only has the official website been updated but we finally know who’s playing Uncle Seymour Coffins!
The official site just went live right over HERE and we’ve been promised new content will be added regularly! To couple with that news we’ve got the good word on who’s slapping on the makeup and screwing Mexican whores as Uncle Coffins. That news comes from a video blog called ‘Nothing Special.’ It was done by a couple extras on the H2 set and includes an interview with POP SKULL star/co-writer Lane Hughes, who was also an extra on H2. I’ve thrown up the video below so you can go ahead and check that out… but be careful, there are some spoilers in there!
One of which is the identity of Uncle Seymour Coffins! Are you ready for this…. Drum roll? …. Uncle Seymour Coffins is….. Jeff Daniel Phillips!! Shocked right? What?? You could care less…? Well damn. But it’s the GEICO Caveman people! Come on! Alright… so he’s no Bill Moseley. At least the secret is out. It’s interesting to note that Phillips (below) is also playing ‘Howard Boggs’ in H2 so he’s pulling double duty! I guess Moseley pulling out really did leave Zombie in a bind so he just snatched one of his other cast members and threw some makeup on him. Whatever. It works for me!
I could honestly care less about Uncle Coffins but I can’t wait for HALLOWEEN 2! Opening everywhere August 28th! Don’t forget to keep an eye on that official website for new content!
