We got a heads up about a little indie flick today that may interest you–especially if you’re into movies feature crazy women! The new flick’s called SCUPTURE, and while it doesn’t appear to be my kind of movie, it doesn’t mean that it’s not worth a look.

What’s SCULPTURE all about? Check it: SCULPTURE is the story of Ashley Steele (Raine Brown), an aspiring artist who returns home after the death of her parents (Marv Blauvelt and Susan Adriensen) only to find her possessive rich older brother, Adam (Dustin Kerns), and the haunting memories of her repressed past await her. Her childhood friend, Emily (Misty Mundae) tries to free her from the grasp of her egotistical brother. Meanwhile she is commissioned by a well known art dealer (Alan Rowe Kelly) to create a life-size sculpture of “the perfect man”. Ashley decides to use body builders from her brother’s gym as models. Before long she finds herself spiraling down a path of unspeakable psychopathic terror and murder as she frantically tries to complete her masterpiece.

You can check out the trailer below to get an even better feel as to how crazy this chick goes. It starts out looking like a cheesey indie drama, then busts into looking like a elaborate soft-core porno, then ends with shit getting bloody and out of control! Nice!

We were also provided with this these new stills from the film as they’re out promoting SCULPTURE’s premiere on Wednesday, July 22, 2009, 8:15PM at the historic ANTHOLOGY FILM ARCHIVES in New York City.

If this flick looks to be your bag and you want to find out more (and even attend the film’s premiere), check out their OFFICIAL MYSPACE page. In the meantime, enjoy the new pics and the new trailer below!
