New Moon trailer hits

The moment all you TWILIGHT fans have been waiting for is finally here: the trailer for NEW MOON has officially hit, and you can check it out below over and over and over again if you so wish.

Fittingly, the trailer premiered during last night’s MTV Movie Awards, and was greatly received by the fans. But how does it look to the non-fans, like myself? Well… it starts out like a mushy teen-angst love story (just as we’d expect), then manages to bust out some crazy shite that we haven’t seen in the previous TWILIGHT trailer: the changing of a werewolf in action!

Not that I think this will be the next big werewolf movie or anything, but the last few seconds of the trailer could be seen as pretty cool, if it weren’t for the context and just about everywhere else. Yeah, I said “pretty cool.” Maybe it’s just the werewolf lover in me. But is it cool enough to want to check it out? No. Not even close.

To see what I mean, check out the trailer below, or hit it up in HD over at MYSPACE, and get ready for NEW MOON in theater’s everywhere November 20, 2009.
