We told you about a little ditty called ALIEN UPRISING way back in January (check it out HERE), and today… today we have the film’s teaser trailer for your viewing pleasure!
Directed by Andrew Bellware, and starring Rebecca Kush, Steve Deighan, and Amelia Randolph, ALIEN UPRISING goes a little something like this: In the future. Marines land on the prison planet Rove 12 in order to put down a suspected prisoner uprising. When the Marines arrive, they find most of the prisoners and all of the guards dead. Any survivors are hiding from a ruthless, blood thirsty creature. Now the prisoners and the Marines have to band together to get off the planet – ALIVE.
After checking out the teaser below, I think you’ll find that you may have seen this one before — it was called ALIENS. No wait, it was called ALIEN 3. Acutally, it was a little bit of both, as ALIEN UPRISING seems to be a hybrid of the two.
It’s an independant film though, so I can’t knock it too hard. There’s definitely some talent involved to make this thing look as slick as it does, and who knows… maybe it’ll push the envelope farther that you could possibly expect. I’ve seen crazier things happen!
