There’s probably a handful of you out there counting down the weeks and days and hours to see the upcoming THE STEPFATHER remake. I, for one, am not, mostly cause I can’t see them equaling, let alone topping, the original film. Plus, it’s gonna be PG-13. Eff that.
On the other hand, I haven’t seen anything except for a few stills and (admittedly) one kick-ass poster. But that’s all about to change. According to BlairWitch.de, the trailer for THE STEPFATHER is set to be attached to all prints of YEAR ONE, the Jack Black / Michael Cera comedy hitting theaters June 19th.
June 19th! Just under a month before we can check out the trailer and decide for ourselves: will THE STEPFATHER be worth the price of admission? The flick stars Penn Badgley, Dylan Walsh, Sela Ward, and Amber Heard (below), and is set to hit theaters October 16, 2009.
