A couple weeks ago word came out of TwitchFilm that the duo who brought us INSIDE would be taking on a flick called LIVID (check that story HERE).
Today Variety has confirmed the scoop, as it appears that Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo will be making their English-language film debut with LIVID, which is scheduled to start filming in Ireland this September.
While we were given a more detailed synopsis a while back, the new summary is a bit more brief. Check it: Billed as a “dark romantic fairy tale,” LIVID turns on three young men who decide to rob an elderly woman’s house in the Irish heathlands.
Cool beans, yo! Revenge, romance, and a fairy tale, presented to us from the duo who gave “chase that pregnant lady down and rip her unborn child from her stomach” a new meaning. Plus, with a title like LIVID, you know the brutality is gonna be laid on thick.
