Here it is, the official synopsis for SAW VI. Unfortunately, it’s really not going to blow your mind, nor does it hint at what we can really expect in the way of traps or special appearances. Of course, this being a SAW film, we can expect plenty of both. (Dr. Gordon..?)

Special Agent Strahm is dead, and Detective Hoffman has emerged as the unchallenged successor to Jigsaw’s legacy. However, when the FBI draws closer to Hoffman, he is forced to set a game into motion, and Jigsaw’s grand scheme is finally understood.”

Who is taking bets that Hoffman isn’t the unchallenged successor to Jigsaw’s legacy?

Directed by Kevin Geutert, SAW VI stars Costas Mandylor, Tobin Bell, Shawnee Smith, Betsy Russell, and newcomers to the series Peter Outerbridge (pictured above) and Tanedra Howard (winner of VH1’s reality show “Scream Queens”). It hits theaters on OCTOBER 23rd.
