A new still popped up today for WHITEOUT, the highly(?) anticipated genre effort starring Kate Beckinsale.

Now truth be told I haven’t been keeping track of WHITEOUT and checking it out for today’s article I have to say… it’s not doing anything for me. What does WHITEOUT have to offer that 20 other films just like it didn’t? Snow? After the New England Winter we just had I’m done with snow for a while thanks. In all seriousness though, WHITEOUT seems decent enough. It’s the basic ‘hunting a serial killer’ premise sure… but at least it stars the gorgeous Kate Beckinsale! Plus it’s got a couple curve balls in being set in Antartica and the coutndown aspect. Here’s the actual synopsis: U.S. Marshal Carrie Stetko tracks a killer in Antarctica, as the sun is about to set for six months.

The newest still from the flick can be seen above. Looks like Kate is checking out some clues while some creeper watches. Alright then. WHITEOUT comes from writers Jon and Erich Hoeber with Dominic Sena directing. It’s pegged for a September 11 release so be sure to keep it here for updates!
