I’m not a twin, but I always thought it’d be awfully weird to have someone walking around that looks just like me. But what would be even weirder is if you could speak and communicate with said twin via a psychic bond. Not only would that be weird–but that’d be f*cking crazy, yo!
In comes the upcoming horror flick SECOND COMING, a movie that explores just that: twins with telepathic abilities to send “visions” to each other. Again, that would freak me the f*ck out, but these chicks seem to OK with it, and they’re even able to use it to solve one of their murders. Check out the synopsis:
Growing up as identical twin sisters, Lora and Ashley Gerritson always had a special psychic bond. When one would feel pain, sorrow or happiness, the other felt it too.
Lora’s life is suddenly changed when she begins to receive chilling visions from her sister, Ashley. Something is horribly wrong…she can feel it. Lora knows she must return to the small town of her childhood to find Ashley.
She begins to realize that Barry Drake, a well-loved, upstanding member of the community, may hold the key to finding Ashley. There is something dark and unsettling about him. As the visions become stronger, she feels that time is running out
Freaky, huh. SECOND COMING is set to hit DVD shelves everywhere June 30th, and we have a few new images from the film as well as the trailer for you to check out and get your groove on.
Written and directed by Jose Zambrano Cassella, SECOND COMING stars Juliet Reeves, Haley Boyle, and Kevin J. O’Neill. That whole psychic bond angle reminds me of the lovely Rachel Weisz in CONSTANTINE, who keeps seeing her sister dive off a Hospital roof. I guess I could see that as a full fledged movie.
