Aykroyd on 3rd ‘Busters

This past weekend, Mr. Dan Aykroyd was at a liquor store by me, signing bottles of his new brand of Crystal Skull Vodka. I really wanted to attend this event with the hopes of possibly scoring some more info regarding GHOSTBUSTERS 3, but sadly was too busy. However as luck would have it, Mr. Aykroyd just got down with MTV on some new details for the aging proton-packers as well as a fresh crop of slime-stoppers! Check out what he said:

“…there will be a whole new generation that has to be trained, and that whole new generation will be led by an individual who you’ll all love when you meet him but I’m not going to tell you anything yet. There’ll be lots of cadets, boys and girls, who’ll be learning how to use the psychotron, the accelerators and all the new stuff, the neuron splitter, which is going to be the interplaner, interceptor and all these great tools that they’re going to have, to flip from dimension to dimension.”

Wow, that sure as hell sounds like some juicy stuff! Could we be seeing a Ghostbusters Academy or even a college? Doctors Venkman, Stantz and Spengler do all have their PHDs. Also, it’s looking like we may still have a shot at getting the entire cast back as Aykroyd added, “When we do the “Ghostbusters 3” movie, hopefully, Sigourney will be in it. I know we’ll make that happen. If she does indeed come back, I have a guess as to who could be the “individual new leader” that Dan was hinting at…
