Drag/Hell official rating

Earlier today we caught the killer UK Quad for Sam Raimi’s upcoming horror jamboree DRAG ME TO HELL (check that shit out HERE). I think just about every horror loving fiend is excited to check this sucker out, regardless of it’s newly appointed rating.

While rumors, speculation, and assumptions have been made as to HELL’s official MPAA rating, the MPAA has officially slapped this beast PG-13 for sequences of horror violence, terror, disturbing images, and language.

For any other horror movie, from any other director, I’d probably be real pissed right about now. PG-13??? Weaksauce!!! And yet, while I prefer my horror rated R, I still have confidence this movie is gonna rock—despite that PG-13 rating. We’re talking about Raimi here, and I believe he’ll be able to scare the bejesus out of us without the need for extra gore, violence, or language. But goddamn I’m gonna miss all that stuff.

Also, word of mouth thus far is that HELL is awesome–from just about everyone–and I believe ’em, yo! Be sure to catch DRAG ME TO HELL in theaters everywhere in all of it’s PG-13 glory May 29th.
