A while back we told you about a new show on the Sci-Fi Network called WAREHOUSE 13 (check that shit out HERE), and today we have a casting up date for you that may or may not float your boat.
Teen actress Allison Scagliotti has joined the cast of the show, which already includes Eddie McClintock, Joanne Kelly, Saul Rubinek, and CCH Pounder (!). Scagliotti is set to play Claudia Donovan, a young, hip, brilliant techno-wiz, who manages to successfully breach the Warehouse’s complex security system in order to track down Artie (Rubinek). With a natural aptitude for science and technology, Donovan’s talents enable her to manipulate and activate many of the objects contained in the Warehouse to help the Team.
Now how’s about that for a long and overwhelming character description. You know what that means, right? That the show’s description is going to be just as long and ridiculous, so hold on to your butts because here we go: WAREHOUSE 13 is about two Secret Service agents who find themselves abruptly transferred to a massive, top-secret storage facility in windswept South Dakota which houses every strange artifact, mysterious relic, fantastical object and supernatural souvenir ever collected by the U.S. government. The Warehouse’s caretaker Artie charges Pete (McClintock) and Myka (Kelly) with chasing down reports of supernatural and paranormal activity in search of new objects to cache at the Warehouse, as well as helping him to control the warehouse itself.
Think THE X-FILES meets THE RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK, throw in some Sci-Fi Channel flair, and you’ve got WAREHOUSE 13 in a nutshell. Cool beans. Makes me wish I got cable just so I could check it out…but I don’t, so boo-hoo for me.
