The first season of HBO’s TRUE BLOOD has come and gone. So what’s the verdict? Well it worked enough to warrent a Season 2! The first few stills from TRUE BLOOD Season 2 hit the net the other day over at HitFix and I’m here to tell you about them!
They don’t offer much in the action department. The stills offer characters standing around talking with the vampire-filled shot above thrown in. Is it just me or do those vampires just look cheesy? TRUE BLOOD follows Sookie Stackhouse, a barmaid living in Louisiana who can read people’s minds, and how her life is turned upside down when the Vampire Bill, walks into her place of employment two years after vampires ‘came out of the coffin’ on national television. One can only assume Sookie and Bill get into all kinds of vampire action.
Season 2 is set to premiere on June 14th only on HBO. Season 2 will consist of 12 all new episodes. Stars set to return are Anna Paquin (below), Stephen Moyer, Rutina Wesley, Chris Bauer, Ryan Kwanten, Sam Trammell, Kristin Bauer, Alexander Skarsgard, Patrick Gallagher, Deborah Ann Woll, Michelle Forbes, Michael McMillian, Ashley Jones, and Carrie Preston while Anna Camp and Valerie Cruz are just two new faces to join the fun. Be set for TRUE BLOOD Season 2 on June 14th!
