Well talk of a third LOST BOYS film was at a high right before the release of LOST BOYS: THE TRIBE. Then after the straight to DVD sequel hit shelves… talks kind of died down.. until now!
LOST BOYS 2 was one of the most anticipated straight to DVD flicks we’ve seen in a while… and I’m guessing it did halfway decent to warrant talks on yet another sequel. Personally I thought it was pretty good… not great, but ok. It went by really fast though… but Autumn Reeser was smoking hot! But alas, it looks like we do indeed have a LOST BOYS 3 on the way! At least that’s the good word coming from the guys over at Bloody Disgusting.
Apparently Evan Charnov has already been hired to pen the script for Warner Premiere with none other than Corey Feldman producing! Feldman will also be reprising his legendary role of Edgar Frog. And get this, it seems the entire plot for LOST BOYS 3 will revolve around Feldman’s character! Awesome.
If LOST BOYS 2 lacked anything besides more awesome vampire action it was Edgar f*cking Frog! I guess it’s highly doubtful that Corey Haim will reprise his role as Sam Emerson… but never say never! At least bring Autumn Reeser (below) back! We’ll wait for some official confirmation on all of this and update you all once we hear it.
