There have been rumors and speculation for months (like THIS ONE) about whether child-star now teen-star Dakota Fanning will be starring in NEW MOON or not, and now, according to People, it’s official: Fanning will be starring in NEW MOON.
The TWILIGHT sequel starts filming next month in Vancouver, and Fanning will be starring as Jane – a sinister vampire with an angelic exterior who works for the Volturi.
I have no idea what that means or who that is, other than Fanning will be playing a vampire, and not a nice and fluffy one. Awesome. With PUSH earlier this year, and now NEW MOON, Fanning is doing an excellent job signing up for crap roles rather than the meatier ones that got her famous in the first place. Nice work.
Not that I care, as NEW MOON is exciting to me as a stick of butter dipped in Mayonaise, but there’s about 11 million pre-teen girls who would likely beg to differ. So what the hell do I know?
