Last summer we told you about a little movie called DEADLINE (check that out HERE), and now that’ it’s been wrapped and looking for distribution, there’s a trailer and a new poster for the dang thing. You’d think that a movie starring Brittany Murphy and Thora Birch would be, at the very least, watchable, but this thing looks freakin’ awful!
You can see the lame-o poster for it, which arguably could have been worse… but it also could have been better. But more than that, if you head THIS WAY you can check out the promo trailer, and boy-oh-boy does it look like a steaming pile of crap.
This could be the trailer’s fault, painting a picture of diarrhea, or it could be the film itself… hard to tell at this point, as it features two solid actors, but then again, even good actors make bad movies. Briefly, DEADLINE is about a scribe who travels to an abandoned house to write a screenplay. A bout of writer’s block and other unforeseen events lead her to a psychological breakdown.
Yes, it looks just about as lame as it sounds. But it allows us to post this picture of Murphy, who is still hella hot. No word on distribution rights yet, we’ll let you know as soon as it’s announced, in the meantime, enjoy trashing on the new trailer HERE. It really does bite the big one.
