We’ve been keeping you updated on BLOOD: THE LAST VAMPIRE for a while now, with the only real news coming our way in the form of new stills. Well that doesn’t really change today considering we’ve got a look at the newest still for BLOOD!
But that’s not all! We’ve also got a UK release date and some distribution news. Firstly, all our pals across the pond will be able to check out BLOOD: THE LAST VAMPIRE in theaters come June 12th. Couple that with that the fact that Universal Pictures have announced US distribution rights and we’ve actually got some movement with BLOOD: THE LAST VAMPIRE!
BLOOD comes from writers Kenji Kamiyama and Ronny Yu with Chris Nahon directing. Here’s the synopsis: Saya, a vampire who is part of covert government agency that hunts and destroys demons in a post-WWII Japan, is inserted in a military school to discover which one of her classmates is a demon is disguise.
No telling yet what Universal will do with BLOOD. Are we looking at theatrical or straight-to-DVD? Nobody knows! We also don’t know when Universal will be sending this violent fun our way. What we do know is that IT WILL be heading to the US within the year. We’ll drop word on when we can expect BLOOD as soon as we hear it!
