By now most of you out there probably know about Robert Hall’s LAID TO REST. It’s a slasher flick that Hall wrote and directed. Here’s the synopsis: A terrifying story of a young girl who wakes up in a casket with a traumatic head injury and no memory of her identity. She quickly realizes she was abducted by a Deranged Serial Murderer and in an isolated rural town she must survive the night and outsmart the technologically inclined killer who is hellbent on finishing what he started.
That actually sounds like a pretty fun flick. What else do you want out of a slasher? Let’s watch this madman stalk this hot chick in an isolated town. I’m game! Well we’ve seen several things related to LAID TO REST to this point, whether it be from the film’s MySpace or it’s official site. Hell we’ve even got a look at the trailer in our videos section, which you can check out by clicking through below.
One thing we didn’t have was a good look at the dude doing all the killing… until today! That picture above has been making the rounds on the net and features LAID TO REST’s madman himself: Chrome Skull. …. Chrome Skull. Alright, I’m not digging it. Then again how many people figured ‘Michael Myers’ to be one of the greatest names for a slasher in history? Exactly. So here’s hoping LAID TO REST can deliver and at least be an entertaining slasher flick.
The film stars Bobbi Sue Luther (below), Lena Headey, Kevin Gage, Sean Whalen, Thomas Dekker, Richard Lynch, Johnathon Schaech, Jana Kramer, and Nick Principe as Chrome Skull. No release date for LAID TO REST has been announced yet, so keep it here for updates!
