New Dunes post

Platinum Dunes lead producer Brad Fuller (I’m pretty sure Michael Bay just provides the cash and that’s about all) updated the Platinum Dunes official blog today, making a few bold statements, and promising a couple of new FRIDAY THE 13TH TV spots to show up soon.

But the TV spots have nothing to do with the big news. Oh no. Fuller makes statements like Friday 13 is my favorite movie of all of the movies we’ve made and If you are truly a fan of horror movies, and specifically Friday the 13 movies, you need to see the new one. It’s badass. Hell yes Jason runs.

Big bold statements, but after seeing the trailers and everything else for FRIDAY THE 13TH, I can honestly say it looks better than most of the other Platinum Dunes features, save for TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE.

The final line of the blog post is what had my eyebrows raise… are you ready for it? I will write once more to update you on Comic-Con New York and then, ladies and gents, we are all Freddy, all the time! That’s right, as in Freddy f*ckin’ Krueger! A part of me thought they wouldn’t go ahead with it, but you know… I was wrong! Damnit!
