My F*CK YOU movie of 2008 was THE HAUNTING OF MOLLY HARTLEY, an award given to only the crappiest of movies ever made. Notice there’s not one quote on the cover promoting this f*cker? Nope, not even Peter Hammond had something nice to say, and you know why? Because this movie sucked giant donkey balls, that’s why. F*ck this movie. But hey, don’t take my word for it, pick it up on DVD next month and see for yourself… but don’t say I didn’t warn ya!

BUTTERFLY EFFECT 3: REVELATIONS – March 31st
Whoa, there’s a third one of these? You know the After Dark Horrorfest is getting desperate for flicks when one of their eight movies to die for is essentially a straight to DVD sequel of a popular big-screen movie. Yikes! Then again, maybe part 3 outshines part 2, and really is deserving of some theaterical love. But oh, wait, that only lasted a week, and now it’s off to DVD it goes! I must say, however, that the cover here is pretty dope, so I’ll give it props for that, but otherwise… next!

PERKINS 14 – March 21st
Out of all the Horrorfest entires this year, this one has my interest perked the most. Why? The film’s posters, and now the DVD cover, has me sold. The retro look, the cool title font, the sneaky tagline… pretty much everything about the cover here screams 80s VHS horror, and for that… I thank them. It’s been far too long since we’ve been entertained in that matter, and I for one can’t wait to check this sucker out!

GHOSTBUSTERS – June 16th
This may have been the biggest announcement of the week, if not the entire year… GHOSTBUSTERS is bustin’ out on Blu-Ray, and just by looking below, it’s not you’re average Blu-Ray release. Just look at all those flippin’ extras! If this disc, and this disc alone, isn’t enough to prompt you to go out and buy a Blu-Ray player, then I don’t know what will. Seriously, they’re going all out on this one… bravo! And best part is, you have until June to save up enough cash… Stick around for the official Blu-Ray cover!

DYING BREED –March 31st – Because the image above is simply… well, it’s bizarre. So it must be worth checking out!
FROM WITHIN –March 31st – Because eyes that smoke like that are freaky. Freaky!
AUTOPSY – March 31st – Because I’ve heard it’s just OK… but hey, it could be better than the word of mouth, right? Right??? Ok… maybe not.
