We haven’t heard squat from the Ron Perlman horror comedy I SELL THE DEAD since September, when we caught a glimpse of the film’s brand new trailer (check that out HERE). Today five stills have shown up, and we’re forced to answer, just where has I SELL THE DEAD gone?
Apparently, it hasn’t gone anywhere except by way of hitting the film festival circuit. And after a few months of hitting fest after fest, it’s scheduled to hit up the Slamdance Film Festival next month… and now it’s time to get more people pumped (hence the new images).
The images feature Perlman and co-stars Dominic Monaghan, Larry Fessenden, and a few others. To be honest, we’ve seen a couple of these before, but not all… particularly the one featuring director Glenn McQuaid posing with the guillotine. I think every movie should have a guillotine, at least during some point of the picture, and it’s nice to see that I SELL THE DEAD does not hold back from guillotine love.
Other than next month’s Slamdance appearance, a release date is unknown at this point, as the film hasn’t scored the distribution deal they’ve been looking for. With the star power and the positive word of mouth, I’m thinking we’ll get to see I SELL THE DEAD sooner than we think. Stick around for updates, in the meantime, enjoy the images below!
