Back in November I told you all about a series of comics coming from Studio 407 called THE SHADOW CHRONICLES. Well one of those comics was THE NIGHT PROJECTIONIST and looked like it had some serious potential.
It seems I’m not the only one that thought so seeing how Variety are dropping word that Myriad Pictures are bringing THE NIGHT PROJECTIONIST to the big screen! Awesome!! PROJECTIONIST definitely has some potential to be a wicked vampire movie, so let’s hope they hit this one out of the park!
This isn’t the first deal between Myriad Pictures and Studio 407, with the duo also teaming up to bring us HYBRID. HYBRID happens to be another project I was immediately excited for… so here’s hoping Myriad and Studio 407 don’t let me down!
THE NIGHT PROJECTIONIST comic hits shelves next month and comes from the duo of Robert Heske and Diego Yapura. Here’s the groovy synopsis: Crosstown Falls. Halloween Eve. It’s the last night of the condemned town theater, which is closing with an all night Draculathon. But the small group of moviegoers suddenly find themselves trapped inside when the theater is surrounded by a horde of vampires. A deadly siege begins, and the moviegoers soon make the terrifying discovery that the night projectionist is also a member of the coven. Is he friend or foe? The Night Projectionist is a no-holds-barred, bone-chilling tale of blood and revenge.
Oh I’m definitely down. No telling when this one will come together, but we’ll keep you updated on both HYBRID and PROJECTIONIST with any updates as we hear them.
