Smith writes Harbor

One name that isn’t quite associated with horror yet is Zane Smith. Right now you’re scratching your head, wondering who the hell this Smith fellow is, aren’t ya? My point exactly. But not for long…

Smith is the dude who wrote MY BLOODY VALENTINE 3-D (starring the lovely Jaime King), and if that film ends up being as awesome as it looks, then I’m sure we’ll be seeing more of Smith in the genre. In fact, we already will be, as has learned that Smith is currently writing the horror feature DARK HARBOR for Phoenix Pictures. So what’s this DARK HARBOR all about?

To be honest with ya, not much is out there, other than this super-brief description: My guess is, the whole thing takes place at some swanky harbor town like the one in , and hopefully twice as fun.

Considering how ridiculously awesome MBV 3-D is looking, I’m stoked that this dude is getting more work. Then again, the film could suck on the script side and rely solely on the 3-D gimmick, the high body count, and the nudity to make it watchable… but hey, someone had to write all the sex and violence, right?

To check out some of the other projects Smith has up his sleeve other than DARK HARBOR, click , and get ready for MY BLOODY VALENTINE 3-D in theaters January 16th.
