Sylvester Stallone is that close to accomplishing the make-up of the second greatest action movie of all time. He’s already got present day action stars Jason Statham and Jet Li along with Dolph Lundgren and a couple other names in Robert Knepper and Randy Couture. Not to mention the fact that Forest Whitaker is rumored to be attached. Though that rumor is coming from IMDB, so take it with a grain of salt.
Now Stallone seems to have locked up a smoking hottie for the female lead. All he needs is to talk Jean Claude Van Damme into dropping the whole ‘actually acting’ thing and sign on, then go get Chuck Norris and Steven Seagal, and lastly… talk The Govenator himself Arnold Schwarzenegger into doing a cameo and Stallone might just have the second greatest action movie ever on his hands. I say second greatest because DIE HARD will forever be #1. DIE HARD also happens to be the perfect movie for this festive holiday season!
But enough about any action fan’s wet dream… let me get into this hottie I mentioned. It seems Stallone has recently been down in Brazil scouting for THE EXPENDABLES. Word has it that he stumbled upon a newspaper stand while there and noticed a covergirl in the form of Juliana Paes. Stallone instantly fell in love and wants Paes, an unknown here in the US, to star in his film. This is according to StalloneZone, a Brazil based Stallone fansite/message board. Considering the source I wouldn’t check this off as definite… but I find it highly possible, and very much acceptable! You can scope out what Paes looks like in the pictures above and below. SOLD!

THE EXPENDABLES has beaten out flicks like TRANSFORMERS 2, STAR TREK, and QUANTUM OF SOLACE among lots others. It seems like Stallone knows what he’s doing and seems to have something big here.
