Over the last few months we’ve bee hearing all sorts of fun stuff regarding 13, the remake of the French flick TZAMETI 13, including its incredible casting featuring 50 Cent, Mickey Rourke, Jason Statham, Ray Liotta, and Ray Winstone. Today the first image of Rourke in 13 has surfaced online, and boy does he look badass!

Don’t let the hat or the stache fool you, this guy is one tough motorscooter… with a really deep tan. He even has hand tattoos–that’s right, hand tattoos. Now tha’s hardcore. Considering who he’s co-starring with, he better be tough… tough as nails!

As a recap, 13 is about a naive young man who assumes a dead man’s identity and finds himself embroiled in an underground world of power, violence, and chance where men gamble behind closed doors on the lives of other men.

Effin’ A. Considering all the buzz Rourke is getting behind THE WRESTLER, by the time 13 comes out in 2010, he may be on top of the world in come-back mode. Now how flippin’ cool would that be?
